Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") sets the conduct rules that apply to all users of Vivly. It is part of the Terms of Service. We may update this policy from time to time.

Permitted uses

Vivly is built for professional, research, and business use cases - including market research, brand and product intelligence, fan and audience understanding, academic analysis, public-discourse research, and building software products and AI agents that consume structured signal.

Prohibited uses

You may not use Vivly:

1.

For illegal purposes

To violate any applicable law, regulation, or third-party right.

2.

To target or surveil individuals

To identify, profile, track, harass, dox, blackmail, stalk, or otherwise surveil any natural person, or to build systems whose primary purpose is to do so.

3.

For mass profiling or scoring of individuals

Including credit scoring, social scoring, employability scoring, predictive policing, or similar systems that produce legal or similarly significant effects on people.

4.

For political microtargeting, electoral manipulation, or coordinated inauthentic behaviour

Including building systems designed to manipulate elections, sway voters with manipulative content, or coordinate inauthentic behaviour across platforms.

5.

For disinformation operations

To design, generate, or disseminate misinformation, propaganda, deceptive synthetic media, or coordinated influence campaigns.

6.

For child safety violations

To create, distribute, or facilitate child sexual abuse material, or to target minors in any harmful way.

7.

To circumvent source-platform terms

Including evading rate limits, terms of service, robots.txt directives, or API access controls imposed by the upstream platforms whose data Vivly ingests.

8.

To resell raw data

Credits and outputs are for use within your organisation or personal practice; they are not licensed for resale of raw underlying records to third parties.

9.

To build competing data products by systematic extraction

Including bulk export of Vivly outputs for the purpose of training a competing data-extraction service.

10.

For unregulated financial services

Including offering automated investment advice, operating an unregistered investment fund, or running prediction markets, without appropriate regulatory authorisation.

Enforcement

We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach this policy. For severe or repeated breaches, we may report to relevant authorities. We will use reasonable judgement in distinguishing legitimate research and analysis from prohibited targeting.

Reporting abuse

Suspected misuse of Vivly can be reported to abuse@vivly.in. We acknowledge reports within 3 business days.
