Does Backup free Salesforce storage?
No. Backup captures snapshots for recovery. Archive has a separate lifecycle for retaining historical records and reviewing source removal.
Is this a complete Salesforce org restore?
Current recovery covers supported records and files in the original org. Full metadata disaster recovery and cross-org restore are not included.
Where are snapshots stored?
Backup has SQL Server and PostgreSQL paths. The chosen package, host and database combination must be validated together.

Backup requires an approved Backup-capable package and activation. Current reviewed restores are bounded to 200 selected records per plan; the pilot confirms recovery scope and operating procedures.
