Archive Viewer, Search & Reports
Keep archived history within reach.
An archive should remain useful after records leave the active system. Give your team record views, search and reporting for the history they are authorised to see.
Bring history into the Salesforce experience.
Add archive components to Salesforce pages and open historical records alongside the team’s day-to-day work. Explore supported related records, Case history, emails and authorised files.
Viewer
Record details, related information and timelines in the configured Salesforce experience.
Search
Find records across supported readable fields and IDs, with object selection.
Reports
Choose columns, filters and a grouping; save a personal report and export results.
Make useful reports from retained history.
Build a focused view of the archive for a question your team needs to answer. Export detail to CSV or a formatted workbook, with bounded results and user-scoped access.
Keep access deliberate.
A Salesforce login alone does not grant every archived record. Membership, seats, object and field access and record authorisation work together. Confirm how your users should access records after the original is deleted.
Questions, answered.
Does this replace native Salesforce Reports?
No. Archive Reports provides selected columns, filters, one grouping and exports. Matrix/joined reports, formulas and native report imports are outside the current scope.
Can every Salesforce user browse the archive?
Users need the appropriate seat, environment membership and permissions. Broad browsing currently depends on explicit archive record grants.
Planning an evaluation
Agree the scope before you start.
Viewer, Search and Reports are distinct modules. We validate the Salesforce package, current record-access model and each user’s expected experience during setup.
